Natural wood accents are dominating the world of interiors at the moment. With white walls going nowhere we have seen the introduction of wood accents as an neutral to warm up the space while adding layers, depth and interest.
Now in truth wood has and will always be a staple in the home but we are seeing a fresh perspective on the tone and finish used. Wood naturally grounds a space with its hues and depth creating warmth and comfort which is where interior trends are gravitating toward.
What started out as small décor pieces such as bowls and chopping boards moved to lighting and furniture pieces such as sideboards and shelving. We are now seeing the revival of natural wood finished kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities and Lucy Lane is living for this.
